BREAK FROM COOKIES !

Due to the commencement of my major house renovation, I'm gonna take a hiatus from baking and decorating cookies for 2 and half month. Officially from the 23rd December 2009 and I will, insyallah take orders again from the 1st March 2010 onwards once the house is back in order and I actually have a dedicated cookie studio to work in. Yay!!

We love cookies. There's just no two ways about it.

The world is full of cutesy cuppies and cakes, so cookies give a new reason to have a party. To come out and just have fun. That's what we have set out to do.

Featured Cookie For The Week 23rd December 2009 :FUNKY TOPSY-TURVY CAKE

A funky, multicoloured cookie. Irresistable alright.

15 pieces of these colourful cookies went out to Azzu. She really insisted on this design, despite it being huge at 4.5 inch. And I love her for her insistence.

Green and purple just clinched it. And I love how my wet on wet dots turned out so well. The bottom tier took some working since I had to fill in each cavity with different coloured icing. But the result was just awesome,

This is VANILLA SUGAR BUTTER COOKIE decorated with ROYAL ICING and it's pretty hefty too at 4.5 inch in height.

Hope the event it was meant for went fabul0usly funky too, aye!
